Seeking advice from eBook readers.

I’m looking for some advice from my readers, please.

My next novel is almost ready, but it is a very long one, and will be around 500 to 600 pages in total. I’m thinking about pricing such a large book in the £2.99 to £3.99 bracket.

I’m also considering breaking it down into a series of 4 smaller novelettes, each one leading to the next, of around 100 to 150 pages each. Pricing for each would be around £0.99, but if I go down this route, I’ll try to get the first one permanently free, so you’d still be paying £2.99 to £3.99 in total.

My question is in three parts:-

Firstly, how much do you normally pay for an eBook and what would be your upper limit?

Secondly, would you rather pay more and have the novel in one chunk, or pay in instalments for the shorter serial read?

Thirdly, would you feel cheated if you bought one of my books and then found it was only 100 pages long?

I’d love to hear your views on this.
Happy reading
Pearl
